The house was built in the 20s of the last century, but it was moved to its current location in the 1960s and renovated in 2016. years. It is made of oak, which is now more than a hundred years old, painted with a protective coating, and made of the so-called Croatian embroidery (joining method).

It is located in the Krapina-Zagorje County, the birthplace of Matija (Gupca in Hižakovec, Donja Stubica. It is categorized with 4 stars and has the label True Zagorje Home, which the owners are very proud of. The house was used as a weekend facility for years, but then the potential for renting it out to guests was recognized. The guiding thought was to share with the guests what the owners of the house come for on weekends, namely the peace and quiet offered by this small place, while the result is an excellent rest for the soul and body.

The house has been available to guests since 2017. year and for five years now, people come from all continents with pleasure, stay in touch and return again.

Also, this year the house is a finalist for the best renter of the year in the Holiday House category.

If you are tired of the city and smog, here you will breathe in the fresh air of Zagorje, and the house itself is located 400 meters above sea level in Visina, in the Medvednica Nature Park on the route of mountain hiking and biking trails. It is intended for four people, and pets are also allowed.

Jako lijep ugođaj i ambijent,za bijeg u prirodu i cisti zrak od gradskog i ubrzanog načina života.Domaćin jako ljubazan i gostoprimstvo na najvišem mogućem nivou,kućica uredjena kao iz bajke u srcu Zagorja u stilu modernog i autohtonog ostavlja svakog posjetioca bez daha,na sve su mislili i imate bas sve od roštilja,jacuzzi,saune,3 terase,kuhinje,2 wc,kupaone,kuhinje i blagavaonice,perilice za sudje,perilice za rublje,2 klime…..Topla preporuka svakom tko voli mir i prirodu i sve sto mu priroda pruža uz naše domaćine Jelenu i Tomislava Ruk sa obitelji.Vraćamo vamse ponovno.Natasa M.
