December in Krapina

PROGRAM WITH THE LIGHTING OF ADVENT CANDLES IN PARK MATICE CROATIA (NEAR THE MUSIC PAVILION)

Starting this Saturday, Krapina will experience a Christmas atmosphere with the smell of hot chocolate and mulled wine, delicious delicacies, sales of Christmas decorations and jewelry, and a special program.
On November 26, at 7:00 p.m., we light the first Advent candle at the music pavilion in the park, with the performance of the “Bolji svijet” choir, the “Mali kaj” Kindergarten, the professor of the Music School at the Elementary School Augusto Cesarac and the KUD Krapina.

The Sway Band will entertain us throughout the evening with good, old hits.
On Saturday 3.12. after a special program, the girls from the center arrive, 10.12. Mia Dimšić, and 17.12. Krapina School of Rock and Modern Music.

Štruklijada is an event whose main goal is the promotion of protected Zagorje štrukli and the recognizable brand of Zagorje. The competitive nature of the event attracts many restaurateurs who want to present their skills in making Zagorje štrukli and fight for the title of the first štrukli in Zagorje, while the donor character of the event attracts many visitors who, in addition to having the opportunity to try the best Zagorje štrukli, also support the work of humanitarian associations from our county. . Acting festival in Krapina

Can we see the actors we follow in all those television series, movies, soap operas only in Krapina?! And so it is with the cities of Klanjec and Zabok and the municipalities of Zlatar Bistrica and Lobor, and in 2010. GFUK was launched in Zagorje as well.

Week of Kajkavian culture in Krapina

Every year, at the beginning of September, the Week of Kajkavian Culture begins, which is extremely important for the City of Krapina, Krapina – Zagorje County and the entire Kajkavian-speaking area, and enriches and elevates the culture of our homeland.

The main goals of the Week are to preserve the spoken, written and sung Kajkavian words and to nurture the customs of these areas. This manifestation glorifies the overall artistic creativity of the Kajkavian speaking area and every year brings a rich treasure of quality events such as concerts, scientific gatherings, recitals, exhibitions, economic gatherings and sports meetings, and the highlight of each week is the “Festival of Kajkavian Songs”, a concert of newly composed songs in performed by eminent Croatian musicians.

Zagorje Blues Ethno Festival is a set of musical events that combine fun and immediate entry into the world of music, in this case the world of blues and ethno, and through concerts, workshops, exhibitions and informal get-togethers brings the performer closer to the audience and vice versa.
