In this one-day trip, explore one of the largest prehistoric sites in Europe – the Krapin Neanderthal Museum. After visiting the museum, we will go to the Zagorje country estate. You won’t soon forget the beautiful view of Hrvatsko Zagorje. Delicious local food is also waiting for you there. After lunch and relaxing on the hill, we go to Trakošćan Castle. One of the most attractive castles in Croatia was built in the 13th century. century. Next to it is a beautiful lake, and various activities are possible nearby.

Route 2.
Route: Short tour of the town of Krapina – Bodren Winery – Zdolc Winery – Vuglec breg Winery – Dinner with a view of Zagorje brege
Experience the incredible beauty of Zagorje hills and taste the best Zagorje wines on this Zagorje wine tour through Western Zagorje. First, we arrive in Krapina and take a short tour of the city. Then we set off on the Zagorje wine roads and wineries. First, we go to the famous Bodren Winery and taste wines with numerous awards. Then we head to the Pregradski vineyard and have a wine tasting at the Zdolc Winery. At the end, we arrive at the Vuglec breg Winery where, along with a tour of the cellar and wine tasting, we have dinner with a wonderful view of the Zagorje hills.

Museum Staro selo Kumrovec – Museum of the Peasants’ Revolt, visit to Gupč’s monument and linden tree in Gornja Stubica – Lunch on the farm – Museum of Neanderthals in Krapina
In this one-day excursion, experience Zagorje tradition in the Old Village of Kumrovec, where the crafts and customs of Croatian Zagorje are presented. Old wooden houses and the oldest Zagorje crafts will take you to a completely different time. Then departure to Gornja Stubica, and a visit to the Peasant Revolt Museum, a tour of Augustinčić’s monument and a trip to Gupčeva lipa. Exchange impressions at a rural household not far from Stubica, and after relaxing, we head towards the Museum of Neanderthals in Krapina.
Route 4.
Gornja Stubica – Peasant Revolt Museum and Oršić Castle – Lunch at the farm – Relaxation in the thermal baths
Arrival in Gornja Stubica, and a visit to the Museum of the Peasants’ Revolt, a tour of Augustinčić’s monument and a trip to the Gupčeva lipa in the shade of which Matija Gubec gathered like-minded people and ignited the ardor with speeches that grew into one of the most important events in Croatian history – the Peasants’ Revolt. Then we go to a farm not far from Stubica, and the time you wait for the traditional Zagorje lunch will be shortened by viewing domestic animals. According to your wishes, we will go to one of the more famous thermal baths in Hrvatski Zagorje, where you will be able to truly relax and swim in the thermal water, warm up in the sauna or try some new massages.
Route 5.
Museum of Neanderthals in Krapina – Shrine of Our Lady of Bistrica in Marija Bistrica – Hearts workshop and tasting of gvirc (honey wine) – Lunch and drop at the farm – Gornja Stubica: Museum of the Peasant Revolt
Arrival in Krapina, where we will learn about the former life of the Krapina ancestors. After experiencing the Stone Age in Krapina, we head towards Marija Bistrica, where the young parish chaplain will take us through the sanctuary. After the tour, we will visit the Licatar hearts workshop and taste gvirc – honey wine. Then it’s time for local Zagorje food and wine at the farm. After lunch, we will head to Gornja Stubica and the Museum of the Peasants’ Revolt, see Augustinčić’s monument and go to the Gupčeva lipa, in the shade of which Matija Gubec gathered like-minded people and ignited the fervor with speeches that grew into one of the most important events in Croatian history – the Peasants’ Revolt.
